CLASS OVERVIEW

No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

What is No-Gi BJJ?

No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a fast-paced and dynamic form of grappling that focuses on submissions, takedowns, and positional control without the traditional kimono (gi). Instead, students train in rashguards and shorts, using grips on the body rather than the uniform.

No-Gi is highly popular for its practical self-defence applications, crossover into mixed martial arts (MMA), and its emphasis on athletic movement and speed.

Why Train No-Gi?

Training No-Gi BJJ helps you develop:

  • Realistic Self-Defence Skills – practical grappling techniques without reliance on a gi.

  • Explosive Movement & Transitions – faster-paced training that sharpens agility and timing.

  • Submission Mastery – leg locks, chokes, and joint locks in a modern grappling setting.

  • Crossover Skills – ideal for those interested in MMA or wrestling.

  • Fitness & Conditioning – build strength, endurance, and mobility in every session.

ATOS Affiliation

Our No-Gi program is part of the ATOS Jiu-Jitsu affiliation, founded by Professor André Galvão. ATOS is world-renowned for producing champions in both Gi and No-Gi grappling, and our students benefit from:

  • World-Class Curriculum – cutting-edge techniques straight from one of the top teams in the world.
