CLASS OVERVIEW

What is Kickboxing?

Kickboxing is an exciting and energetic martial art that combines punches, kicks, and movement into a dynamic system of fitness, discipline, and self-defence. It’s fast-paced, engaging, and perfect for young people looking to build confidence, get fit, and learn valuable life skills.

For juniors, kickboxing training develops:

  • Practical Self-Defence – learning effective techniques in a safe, controlled way.

  • Fitness & Conditioning – improving stamina, agility, strength, and coordination.

  • Confidence & Focus – building resilience and self-belief both inside and outside the gym.

  • Respect & Discipline – developing good habits, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Partnered with WKA

Our Junior Kickboxing program is partnered with the World Kickboxing Association (WKA), one of the longest-standing and most respected governing bodies in the sport.

This partnership provides our students with:

  • Competition Pathways – opportunities to take part in local, national, and international WKA events.

  • High Technical Standards – training aligned with one of the world’s leading organisations.

  • Future Opportunities – a clear route from junior level to senior and competitive kickboxing.

What to Expect in Class

  • Technique Development – learning strikes, combinations, and defensive skills.

  • Fitness Training – building strength, endurance, and mobility through fun drills.
